The Goal
Waltham Forest Engineering, a precision engineering firm in Loughton established in 1972, carries out metal railings installation and repair work regularly, but their main site wasn't ranking competitively for it. Railings work has its own search intent and its own audience, so it needed a site of its own rather than another page bolted onto the existing one.
The Build
A standalone one-page microsite at railingslondon.uk, built in plain HTML and CSS with no build step, for speed and simplicity. It covers new installations and repairs across cast iron, wrought iron, mild and stainless steel, for residential, commercial and heritage or listed properties, with London borough coverage and a quote request form.
Deployed on Cloudflare Pages, separate from the main Waltham Forest Engineering site, so it can be positioned and optimised purely around railings search terms without diluting the parent site's own focus.
